Meeting Minutes (2022-2023)

Faculties of Education Department, Alder College had a department meeting on 5^th July 2022 at the 1QAC.

• The Head of Department (HOD) highlighted on the guidelines and course structure of Choice based Credit System (CBCS) as oriented (BUGS Meeting) on 19^th April at Nagaland University.
• Deliberation were done by going through the new syllabus by the three faculties.
• Work distribution was done for the session July-December 2022 among the three faculties.

 Meeting minutes 02/08/ 2022)

• Faculties of Education Department suggest to have an Orientation Programme for the honours students 1^st,3^rd,5^thSmester. The objective is to know each other better and to understand the importance of the subject. The programme will proceed with the confirmation from the authority.
• Faculties collaboratively deliberate and decides on the optional papers (the newly added courses) to be opted in the approaching semesters.
• The Department propose to visit Tabitha enabling Academy involving 5^th Semester students which is in line with their courses. October 2022 is the tentative month for this programme.

Meeting Minutes (24/01/2023)

• A cultural presentation for the 2^nd semester students will be organised by the department. Tentative dates were kept on 12^th and 13th March 2023. Second semester students will be allowed to present an item each of their distinctive tribe.
• The department propose to conduct an Exposure Trip for the honours students tentatively  the 1^st week of May 2023. Place and date will be confirmed after meeting with the students.

Meeting minutes (26-04-2023)

• Faculties and honours students of education department planned on the department outing. Permission will be taken from  the authority. Tentative date is on 29^th April 2023 to visit Dziikou Retreat, Jakhama.

Meeting Minutes 10-05-2023

• Update on course coverage was done. Every concern teacher completed the courses on time. Revisions were going on, question paper reviews were done.
• Review and update of log book was done. Log book to keep ready for reference.
• The department decided to carry on the progress for SSR, adhere to IQAC guidelines for this purpose and to complete the allotted criterion for SSR.
• Work load for the next semester was discussed and allotted to each concern teacher.
